My name is Tom Gonzalez. I work as a consultant and play as an artist. My day job primarily consists of helping high tech companies to bake next generation data visualization and user experiences into their software.

It has been a while since I have pursued any serious artwork, but my recent foray into Processing is changing that. Processing as a medium allows me to explore all of the wonderful qualities I have enjoyed in sculpture, blown-glass, and painting without the tedium that I usually found in working within those modalities.  For me Processing epitomizes what I always loved about creating software, the ability to “sculpt” abstract thought into elegant designs.

I live in Carlsbad, California, and outside of trying to go surf at least a few times a week I enjoy spending my spare time with my two amazing boys Dayne and Blake.
